Cardiovascular Rasps
Cardiovascular rasps are specialized surgical instruments used in cardiovascular procedures to remove or smooth out bone or tissue surfaces. They are designed with a roughened or abrasive surface to effectively abrade or file down tissue or bone, allowing for precise shaping or smoothing during surgical procedures. While rasps are more commonly associated with orthopedic surgery, there are certain cardiovascular procedures where rasps may be utilized, such as in certain aspects of cardiac surgery or vascular procedures.
